Remember to send in 12 to 24 plastic eggs and one bag of candy (no hard candy, please!) We need to have them by Wednesday so we can write their names on each one.
Thursday morning we will wear our adorable bonnets and bunny ears and go hunting for those eggs! We will begin around 9:00. You are invited to hop on in and join us for this delightful occasion.

Shiver Me Timbers!
This week we studied the letter x and celebrated with a pirate theme. We studied maps and talked about buried treasure. (x marks the spot!).
Then we finished the fun week off by dressing like pirates, drawing a treasure map and writing how to find the treasure. (This fit in perfectly with our last piece of telling people "how to" in writer's workshop).
The final bit of fun was using our map and looking for treasure in the class. ARRRRR, maties!

Field Trip to UNF on March 11!
Our field trip to UNF nature trail will be Wednesday, March 11.
The $7.00 fee is due by Friday, March 6.
Remember to pack a lunch with either juice or water. No sodas, please.
Your child should wear comfortable shoes for walking and long pants and a cap to deter bugs.
You may also want to apply bug repellant before they leave home.
It should be a beautiful day for a walk in the woods!

100 days of Royal Fun!
February 2 marked 100 days of learning and fun in Queensland. We celebrated with four stations of 100 day activities.
We filled a 100 chart with stickers, pictures and stamps.
We wrote about what we wished we had 100 of and what we didn't want 100 of!
We made a 100 piece lego sculpute.
And the grand finale was 100 pieces of food to make a snack! (Thanks to Miss Wanda, Nicky's mom for providing lots of goodies!)
ies!
