If you missed it last week was the awesome art show, Sights and Sounds. Artists in our class had their work on display with prices ranging from 1 cent to 10 million dollars. And you won't believe it, but every piece sold! (Obviously not all were bought at those prices. :)

Need A Bath? See Mrs. Wishy Washy!
"Oh lovely mud!
Jesse and Emily are good sports being Mrs. Wishy Washy.
This week we read one of our favorite books, Mrs. Wishy Washy and naturally, it was a great story for us to reenact. (which happens to be one of our standards) There may be some budding Hollywood stars in our room. Here are Dawn, Steven and Julianna getting into their parts.

On Your Mark, Get Set, Go!
Play Day, April 2008
Thanks Coach Scott and Coach Ross for a great Play Day!
We loved showing off our physical prowess whether it was in the Spoon Relay, Carry and Fetch or the Potato Sack Race. But our favorite was the tug of war. Was it because we beat Queen Griffin's class? :)

We pulled and we pulled! Not only do we have brain muscles, but look at us show off our arm muscles!!

Mr. Mike, Sabastian's Dad, joined us for Play Day and helped everyone get to the right place including Sabastian! Thanks Mr. Mike!
Rohan is on the home stretch in the spoon relay.

Where the Wild Things Are!!
Last week we read the book, Where the Wild Things Are, and look what happened! The next thing I knew, there were 17 wild things in our room on Friday!
Is that Joey, Janelle and Dimas or wild things?
"And now," cried Max, "let the wild rumpus begin!"
They roared their terrible roars and gnashed their terrible teeth
and rolled their terrible eyes and showed their terrible claws!
I hope the regular class shows up this week!
